The Fossils Trail - Leg 12
The route continues alongside the Romanesque church of San Lorenzo, going towards the bottom of the valley, where you cross the main road and climb up to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Carmine.
Proceed along the valley, following a curve, pass by the Romanesque church of S. Sebastiano e Fabiano and finally you will reach the centre of Scandeluzza.
From here, continue towards the hamlet of Rinco: you can see the high tower of its castle from the distance!
Going further, you’ll get in a short distance to the village of Castelcebro, go past and then downhill to the valley to the intersection with the main road, in Gaminella. Cross the road and then uphill, along a scenic road, up to the centre of Tonco.
