The “Walks Through the Roero Vineyards” series is back—a series of events organized by the Enoteca Regionale del Roero dedicated to exploring the region through walking tours, meetings with producers, and wine tastings.
On Sunday, October 4, the walk will stop in Montà for a roughly 6.5-km route that will pass through some of the area’s most picturesque spots: from the Santuario dei Piloni to the areas of Renna and Bric Valdiana, winding through vineyards, trails, and offering glimpses of the Roero landscape.
Here is the schedule
10:00 a.m. – Departure from Piazza Divisione Alpina in Montà
10:45 a.m. – Stop and wine tasting at Poderi Vaiot
The walk will then continue through Renna and Bric Valdiana, exploring a landscape where vineyards, woods, and hills showcase one of the most distinctive corners of the Roero region.
12:15 p.m. – Country-style lunch at Taliano Michele
At the end of the walk, enjoy a convivial country-style lunch accompanied by music and a wine tasting featuring wines from the producers of the Montà Winemakers’ Association.

Cost: €35.00 (includes participation in the walk; tastings along the route; final country-style lunch; wine tasting featuring wines from the Vignaioli di Montà; a free cap for all participants)
Light trekking shoes, a hat for protection from the sun, a small supply of water perhaps in the backpack and a change T-shirt for the arrival and final stop are necessary.
