Cisterna d’Asti is hostig a new edition of USANZE. The 2026 edition revolves around a simple yet powerful question: “Chi u resta?”, a Piedmontese dialect expression that, can be translated into Italian as “Whose son is he?”. or “Who’s staying in the village?”
Friday, June 26th, starting at 7pm,an evening in the castle gardens, with stands serving hamburgers and appetizers, and a DJ set.
On Saturday, June 27th, and Sunday, June 28th, the festivities will spill out into the village streets, and starting at 7pm., the historic center will host a food tour with food stands. There will also be tastings with local winemakers and the Ristorantino at the castle (already sold out for both evenings).
The highlight will be on Sunday, June 28th, at 6pm in the Church of Saints Gervasio and Protasio: a talk with Franco Arminio, poet, writer, and “paesologist.
