The “Romantic Night in Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages” also includes Neive and its historic center; recognized as one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, the town is part of the program for this nationwide initiative. And for this special occasion, the municipal administration led by Mayor Paolo Piccinelli has chosen to host the band Mistral and their benefit concert in support of AIL, organized by Councilwoman Antonella Marasso.
The choice stems from the guiding principle that introduces the initiative: love for the villages, our memories, and the bond that unites us: Mistral are, in fact, children of this village in the Langhe; they were born here and began their long musical journey from here—a journey that continues after more than thirty years. They are thus united to Neive by a deep-seated bond, by many memories, and by a special legacy that will be revived on Saturday, June 20, at 9:00 p.m. during the Romantic Night.
And what will make this event even more special is its charitable nature: the evening is part of the “Mistral for AIL 2026” tour, with free admission, and any donations collected will be directed to the Italian Association Against Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma, specifically to the Cuneo chapter named after Paolo Rubino, which supports AIL’s work in collaboration with the hospitals in Cuneo and Verduno, as well as research to combat various forms of blood cancers.
