On Saturday 17 October, starting from Becchi – Colle Don Bosco and finishing in Montechiaro d’Asti, Stage 1 of ‘…In Cammino con Don Bosco’ will take place – a walk to discover the places linked to Don Bosco’s presence in the area.
The full route is approximately 19 km long, of moderate difficulty and one-way. Participants are to meet at 7.30 am at Becchi, with the walk setting off at 8.00 am. There will also be a second meeting point at the Romanesque church of San Secondo di Cortazzone, at around 10.45 am, for a shorter section of approximately 11 km. The walk will end in Montechiaro d’Asti, with refreshments provided by the Pro Loco.
Along the route, there will be several stops dedicated to learning about the most significant sites linked to Don Bosco.
Participation costs 10 euros and booking is compulsory by 15 October 2026.
We recommend suitable clothing, comfortable shoes, a rucksack, water and a snack.
In case of bad weather, the walk will be postponed to Saturday 24 October 2026
