At 10 a.m., a walk through the heart of the historic center.
At 12 p.m., the event moves to City Hall for an official meeting with the Mayor and City Council members,
At 1:00 p.m. in the courtyard of the Pro Loco, lunch will feature a mixed platter of cold cuts and cheeses, agnolotti with butter and sage, and the traditional bunet; alternatively, you may choose to dine at local restaurants.
The afternoon will be entirely dedicated to culture and art. At the exhibition space on Via V. Emanuele 8 (the former historic site of the Palio), contemporary art exhibition.
May, 17th
At 10 am meet at the educational truffle grove for a walk through truffle-rich lands, including a visit to Romanesque masterpieces: the Church of S. Nazario and the Parish Church of S. Maria in Pisenzana. There will also be an opportunity to rediscover the Pro Loco’s wine cellars.
At 1pm typical lunch in the Pro Loco courtyard or at the town’s restaurants. The afternoon will be dedicated to traditional sports with the Monferrato Wall Tamburello Tournament: at 4pm, at the “Beppe Tirone” sferisterio, the match between Montechiaro and Montemagno will take place. At the same time, the art exhibitions will continue.
