- Serralunga D'Alba
After the success of previous years, Serralunga d'Alba will once again host the Cugnà festival over the weekend of September 27 and 28.
It starts on Saturday, September 27, with the Artisanal and Homemade Cugnà Competition in the Castle, where throughout the day everyone can participate, taste, and vote for their favorite cugnà.
From 5:00 p.m., there will be performances by musicians and singers of Piedmontese and Occitan tradition, with musical performances by the students of the “La Bottega delle Muse” Association.
On Sunday, September 28, the historic center of the town will be the setting for the Cugnà market exhibition with typical local products and cugnà tastings.
From 11 a.m., the food stands run by the local Pro Loco associations will be open: SERRALUNGA hosting BOSSOLASCO, MONFORTE D'ALBA, CASTINO, MONTELUPO ALBESE, and RIVALTA di LA MORRA. Traditional Piedmontese dishes will be available to taste throughout the day, accompanied by wines from Serralunga producers and music from the KANTINA SOCIAL BAND and AGRICOLI BAND. The historic center will host an exhibition of paintings by emerging local artists.
During the day, it will also be possible to take guided walks in the historic center DISCOVERING THE CUGNA' at 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
