On Saturday, 8 November, at 5 p.m., the Church of San Domenico in Alba will once again host a reading aloud of the works of Beppe Fenoglio.
This event, organised by the Beppe Fenoglio Study Centre in collaboration with the Municipality of Alba, is eagerly awaited by passionate readers who help give voice to the stories and novels of the Alba-born author, recognised as one of the leading writers of the Italian 20th century.
The Fenogliana Marathon is a “classic” event that over the years has evolved into a moment of sharing beauty: the beauty of carefully chosen words, combined to tell stories that belong to us.
Double anniversary: for this 15th edition, we will read together “Un giorno di fuoco” (A Day of Fire), first published in 1955 in Paragone, an art and literature magazine edited by Roberto Longhi and Anna Banti.
