Rita Barbero, known by her artist name PurpleRyta, presents a selection of her “wine on paper” works in Castiglione Falletto—a distinctive expression of an artistic exploration that combines painting and wine culture.
The exhibition, held at the Chapel of Sant’Anna (Via Cavour 28, near City Hall), features the iconic “Donne Spettinate” (Disheveled Women): evocative and powerful figures who embody multiple identities—“rude,” “dreamers,” “sirens,” “warriors,” “sentinels,” “women with a glass” —offering a collective and contemporary narrative of womanhood.
The exhibition pays homage to the complexity of the female universe, explored through the artist’s free and unconventional perspective, who describes her protagonists as “those more interested in living than in combing their hair.”
