Bene Vagienna is getting ready for Christmas with the following events:
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12
Casa Ravera at 4:00 p.m. – Presentation: Artistic engraving – publication “From Salmour to Europe” by Emanuele Tesauro di Salmour (marking the 350th anniversary of his death). A collection of studies related to the conference held in Bene Vagienna on October 18, 2025
Church of San Bernardino dei Disciplinanti Bianchi at 5:30 p.m. · Opening of the 2026 Nativity Scene with music, poetry, and carols: Bene Vagienna City Band, students from the town’s elementary school, and the Revello Choir. The Nativity Scene will be open to visitors on holidays through January 24, 2027 (the feast day of Blessed Paola Gambara Costa, Lady of Bene, Carrù, and Trinità).
Chapel of the Magi at 6:00 p.m. Christmas lights and carols—Christmas entertainment with the Cantori di Revello
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13
Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Podio di Bene hamlet, 3:30 p.m. Inauguration of the miniature mechanical Nativity scene, an artistic creation by Battista Manassero, on display through January 6—opening hours: Saturday 4:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. / Sunday 2:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
Casa Ravera, 4:00 PM: Presentation of the ARMANAC PIEMONTẺIS 2027 and the monograph of the same name, *Palazzi di Torino: Balconi, Decorazioni, Curiosità e Segreti* (Palaces of Turin: Balconies, Decorations, Curiosities, and Secrets), edited by Sergio Donna in collaboration with the “Monginevro Cultura” Association of Turin
