It has been 750 years since Asti held its ‘extraordinary’ Palio in Alba on August, 10th 1275. To celebrate this anniversary, don't miss the BRINDISI ALLE ANTICHE MURA (Toast to the Ancient Walls) organised for Sunday August, 10th 2025 at 9 pm in Piazza Lugano in Asti! The stars will light up the medieval walls for this important anniversary of the Palio di Asti! Historian Ezio C. Pia will recount the history of the Palio, there will be a performance by the flag throwers of A.S.T.A. and the blessing of the Palio banners. The walk will end at the "Alle Mura"Club with a birthday toast in collaboration with the Asti Consortium.
