On Saturday 13 September 2025, the traditional appointment Io, Barolo returns. The absolute protagonists will be Barolo and its producers, who will present themselves to the national and international public in an itinerant tasting in the historic centre of Roddi.
From 4.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., about thirty Barolo producers will guide participants on a fascinating oenological journey through the picturesque village.
You can access the event by purchasing a single pass at a cost of € 35 (online pre-sale) or € 38 (on site), which will allow you to taste the wines of all the producers present without limit to the number of tastings. Residents of Roddi are entitled to a special discount of € 15.00 on the cost of the tasting pass.
There will also be a wine-tasting lounge inside the mediaeval castle conducted by Chiara Buratti, with speeches by a number of producers who will talk about their experience and offer for tasting a wine particularly representative of their companies. There is an extra cost of € 12 per person to participate.
Possibility of guided tours of the Castle of Roddi (5 p.m. - 8 p.m.): four rounds of visits will be organised to admire the restored rooms, the historic 16th-century kitchens and the medieval nucleus of the castle. The extra cost is € 6.00 per person.
