On Saturday, May 16, WiLa – Wine Labels Collection, the international collection of wine labels housed in the premises adjacent to Wi.Mu. – the Wine Museum located in Barolo’s Castello Falletti – will reopen to the public with a completely revamped exhibition layout.
The new exhibition layout houses the Cesare and Maria Baroni Urbani Collection, a collection of over 285,000 labels from 105 countries, considered one of the most important internationally. The reopening will be accompanied by the temporary exhibition “Artemisia’s Dress,” dedicated to the history of Vermouth, its evolution to the present day, and its cultural and botanical universe.
Inside Wi.La., there will also be a corner created with the support of the Turin Vermouth Consortium, offering an in-depth look at the botanicals and the main types—Bianco, Rosso, and Extra Dry—that define the product’s specifications.
This connection also inspired the mixology offerings that will accompany the opening weekend. From 4 to 7 p.m., visitors will be able to access WiLa and WiMu to enjoy mixology creations by Il Confessionale Vermouth & Drink, accompanied by food prepared in collaboration with Al Castel Cafè Bistrot and Petti’t Bistrot.
The experience will continue on Sunday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., maintaining the dialogue between museums, vermouth, and mixology as the central theme of the entire initiative.
