Saturday, 6 September, is the date for Sport in Piazza, an afternoon dedicated to exercise and wellbeing.
The initiative will take place in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele in La Morra starting at 2 pm.
The sports clubs that operate in the town's facilities will introduce themselves to the public, offering the opportunity to try different disciplines and discover new passions. The event is free and open to all ages: an invitation to get involved, put on your trainers and experience the energy of sport together.
At 5 p.m., at the Salone Polifunzionale, there will also be a conference entitled “Movement is health, where does Yoga fit in?”, organised by the Circolo Soham with speaker Angela Swidinsky (Sw. Lakshyamurti). An in-depth look at the effects of Yoga on a physical, energetic and psychological level in different stages of life and in particular conditions such as pregnancy, convalescence or disability.
