Sentiero Arancione (Orange Trail)
Of the six loops marked out by the CAI in the Agliano area, this is the shortest and probably also the easiest. The gravel stretches are about 40% of the total, it is 3.5 km long and can be covered in one hour and twenty minutes.
Also this trail is connected to the “yellow” and “light blue” paths which depart from the centre of Agliano Terme. Drive to number 7, Via Noce, where you can leave your car. You proceed along a gentle slope and then you are surrounded by shoots, lush vines and, when in season, ruby red bunches of grapes. So, here you are in San Zeno and, after several ups and downs, you will reach Borgata Lovetta.
The trail continues on a dirt road along an incredibly scenic ridge from which you can enjoy views of the entire Alpine arc. Next, you pass through Borgata Vianoce and as you proceed along the vineyards, you will reach the asphalted road that takes you back to the starting point.
