From the Langa to Monferrato - Variant 1A
From the hamlet of Burio, we head south, taking roads half way up the slope that cross mixed-crop fields and vineyards, letting ourselves be enchanted by the many panoramic views until we arrive to Boglietto. Here we will make a short stop in one of the many rest points present and visit the church. It is interesting to discover the etymology of the name occurred by chance studying a book written by a Piedmont author and found in Scotland.
Crossing the village of Boglietto, we can continue to Bionzo, where we can admire wonderful panoramic views and the Church of San Siro. From here, we can head towards the hamlet of San Bovo di Calosso, end point of the Variant 1A, where we can stop in the small square with a small well-equipped park and the small church of the hamlet.
