A town steeped in history and culture, on the watershed between the Langhe hills and the Cuneo plain, Cherasco has much to offer its visitors: a rich calendar of events, buildings with a wealth of history, food and wine. But there is more to it: you can also immerse yourself in the greenery of nature, treating yourself to a little relaxation on the nature trails around the town.
The new network of footpaths covers a total of around 100 km, including the vast area of the hamlets.
The project includes 8 different trails, ranging from short walks around the old town to longer routes to discover the several hamlets of Cherasco; they can be covered on foot or by bicycle (possibly e-bike) and respond to an ever-increasing desire to get in touch with nature all around us.
The trails will allow you to immerse yourself in art, history, culture, learn about lesser-known corners of the city, search for crystals along the river or taste the renowned Baci al cioccolato ("chocolate kisses"). There is also an itinerary that connects to the Langa del Barolo, so you can broaden your vision over the sea of hills of La Morra, and beyond.
The downloadable gpx and the paper map allow you to walk these trails safely, choosing the one that best suits your needs.
