Ceresole d’Alba Trails
The village is a dynamic hamlet on the edge of the Roero, in the lowland area that slopes down towards Turin. Here the Rocche, the characteristic feature of much of the Roero, give way to red soil, woods and the predominantly rural landscape of the plains.
Today Ceresole d'Alba, enhanced by its castle, presents the small gem of the MuBatt, the Museum that tells the story of the Battle of Ceresole, which is part of the last period of the "Italian Wars" that took place in the 16th century.
Two paths are available, one urban and one suburban, so that you can immerse yourself in nature and discover all that history has been written here.
All the paths are signposted, and it is possible to extend the itinerary when crossing other paths nearby. The trails of the RBT and S1 Roero Great Route are just a few kilometres away.
