Piancerreto Path on a MTB

The trail runs across hazelnut woods and meadows and leads hikers along a steep twisting ascent, and then atop the hill along a quite flat path. Going along several farmhouses in San Carlo, the paved road takes hikers to the homonymous well-preserved tiny church.

After having passed the hamlet, a steep trail firstly takes hikers toward the state road to Monchiero, then back to an ancient tratturo, a cattle track from Monchiero to Dogliani, and finally back to village.
