The Fossils Trail - Leg 8
Go north through the village of Cocconato d’Asti taking the road that leads to the Maroero district and continue until the Sanctuary of Madonna delle Grazie. Turn left down the hill along a very scenic road and you’ll arrive at the houses of Solza district.
Go further along a meandering path that joins a small road shortly after Cascina Masogno and continue on it for a short distance.
Go past Tonengo area, turn right and climb a winding route up to Ottini district: soon you will get to the Romanesque church of San Michele. Take the path at the foot of the church, heading north along a twisting road, then continue eastwards, up to the town of Moransengo.
