The Fossils Trail - Leg 11
At the edge of the village of Cortiglione take the path on the right, heading south. Continue downhill until you reach the course of the Corteranzo stream, and then go up the slope to the village of Asinaro.
Turn left onto the road heading south-east, for about 1 km, then turn right. Go downhill until you cross the main road.
Go past the main road and the stream Stura, turn right almost immediately afterwards, heading west, and then turn left southwards, turning in the direction of Cavagna. Ride through the village of Corziagno and continue southwards, passing by San Giacomo Farmhouse, up to Mulino Bruciato. Cross the provincial road and proceed until the railway station of Montiglio. Continue up the hill towards the village of Montiglio Monferrato and you will reach Piazza Regina Margherita.
