Barbera Fish Festival

There can be no better way to seal a friendship than to work together and give your best. This is what happened in Agliano Terme: friendship between people, and twinning of souls turned into a union of tastes and excellence.

It has been a long journey from the Barents Sea and the Lofoten to the heart of Monferrato and then, back in 2013, a dinner in Agliano became a source of inspiration and laid the foundations for the Barbera Fish Festival, which since the following year, was held on a biennial basis and has invited in Agliano top chefs  to express their opinions on an unusual but winning combination of Norwegian cod and Barbera d'Asti. An unmissable event for those in search of quality and originality and which involves the whole community of Agliano Terme, the Norwegians who have made this place their home, but also the Norwegian Seafood Council, the historical Hotel School (Agenzia di Formazione Professionale Colline Astigiane) as well as Michelin-starred chefs who are ready to challenge each other in the preparation of dishes based on fresh cod, stockfish and cod, whose meat perfectly pairs with the excellent Barbera produced on these hills.
